Roundwood & District News 19th of July 2021

The herb patch at the Roundwood Health Centre, with thanks our wonderful community! Feel free to pluck a bit for your next culinary delight

The Tidy Towns competition is back with a bang this year. The hanging baskets are up in the village and its looking mighty fine these fine, sunny days. If you have a bit of time to do some kerb side weeding, litter picking or to put a splash of paint on that wall or fence it would help greatly. Many hands make light work & all that jazz!

Thanks to Graeme Mulvey, the members of the Roundwood Gardening Facebook group and Keeley’s Hardware for adding to the herb patch at the Health Centre. Feel free to grab some Thyme, Chives, Sage, Oregano, Rosemary, Parsley and Marjoram for your summer salads & BBQ dishes. They are all labelled so you know which is which! If anyone is feeling artistic or creative, a ‘Herb Patch’ sign would be another welcome addition.
