Whereas the usual Thursday class is full at the moment, I am proposing another class starting Tuesday October 5th in Roundwood Parish Hall,7.30 to 9.00p.m. Class covers: Physical Stretches (within own ability) Pranayama (breath work) Deep relaxation, Meditation and Mantra. Results of the draw held on Sunday September 19th .There was no jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 4, 7, 12 & 25. There were three match three winners, Liz Kenny, PJ & P Kavanagh and Anto Amy & Iarlaith. Next week’s jackpot will be €10,600.
BEEKEEPING -BEGINNERS COURSE
Back again this year due to popular demand! Roundwood Beekeepers Association are running a FIBKA beginners course starting in Oct. It is a eight week course presented by Willie O’Byrne. Anyone interested please email brian@walshfamily.ie your name, telephone number and email address.

Fr Lynch is retiring from our Parish shortly. If you would like to make a donation towards a retirement present please leave it with the Sacristan in Moneystown or drop it to Maureen in Roundwood Parish Office during office hours (Monday – Thursday 8.45 am – 12.30 pm)
CALARY ART EXHIBITION AND HARVEST FESTIVAL 2021
As restrictions are gradually lifting, we are hoping to restart events in Calary Church this October with an Art Exhibition & Harvest Festival Weekend. We are of course aware that plans can change in line with Government guidelines re Covid-19 – but we have to plan. The exhibition will be held over the weekend of the 8th 9th and 10th October in conjunction with a classical guitar recital and launch of CD by Redmond O’Toole on the Friday night and a plant and country produce sale on Saturday. The Harvest Service will be at 3pm on Sunday 10th. So, all in all a pretty full weekend!

CANCER SUPPORT
Our centre is now open. Hospital transport is being provided as per usual. Counselling for cancer sufferers and their family is available. Reflexology, massage and other therapies are available also. The Roundwood and District Community Council are registered to administer the senior alert scheme which provides grants to elderly people towards the provision of personal alarms. The personal alarm offers reassurance to allow independent living, safe in the knowledge that you can quickly be in contact with a family member or neighbour in the event of an emergency.
