BLESSING OF GRAVES

Roundwood Parish Cemetery Sunday/Pattern Sunday – will take place on Sunday 24th July.  Please note the 11.30 am Mass will be celebrated in Roundwood Cemetery & NOT in the Church.  This Mass will be offered for all interred in the Cemetery and will include a Blessing of the Graves  (People are welcome to bring their own folding/portable chairs)  As this is the Sunday Mass there will be one Collection BEFORE Mass.  Our collectors will be at the Cemetery Gates on your way in.  As always, your contribution is much appreciated.   The stewards earnestly appeal to the good nature of all those attending the ceremony and request them not to park any vehicles on the Oldtown Road between Vartry House and the cemetery.  All those who are able to park in the village and walk up are asked to do so, in order to allow room for the less able-bodied Parishioners to be driven to the Cemetery
