Ballinastoe Tug of War Club are going from strength to strength over the past 5 years when they reformed after a 35 year break. They travel across the country for many competitions on a weekly basis over the summer months and have become quite successful, winning a number of Gold, Silver and Bronze All Ireland medals. Tug of War is a difficult sport and requires commitment and willpower. We don’t see many competitions at this level in the eastern part of the country as most clubs are based in the West of Ireland, so this is a rare opportunity to see how Tug of War is supposed to be done through technique, strength and determination
