New Community Youth Choir starting Wednesday April 10th 6pm-7pm in Roundwood Parish Hall. Open to all ages between 8 – 18 years. Please email for more info and register for a place. €25 per term. 


The Roundwood Cancer Support office is open every Monday and Friday from ten to twelve o’clock for anyone who needs advice or help when dealing with Cancer. Upcoming events Linda’s Guitar School will host a busking lunchtime Concert in Roundwood Parish on Saturday the 6th of April from 2 to 3 o’clock to raise funds for Roundwood Cancer Support. Admission is free, and we hope you come along and support the young children in their first concert. 

The now famous East Coast Radio Coffee Morning will be held in Kavanagh’s Pub Roundwood on Friday the 26th of April starting at 9 am with all proceeds raised on the day going directly to Roundwood Cancer Support. Lots of lovely cakes tea coffee and entertainment on the day as well as spot prizes 


 Results of the draw held on Sunday March 17th. There was no jackpot winner, the numbers drawn were 6, 16, 18 & 22. There were ten match three winners. Stephen Balfe, Curley, Stephen, Fergal Olohan, T Cowman, Pamela Byrne, J & S Hamiliton, Esther Nolan, Ger & Larry and Ian McDonald. Next jackpot will be €19,000.     


Cumann na mBunscol Cornmarket Annual Awards 4 National Awards go to the Garden County in Cumann na mBunscol Cornmarket Annual Awards for 2024 held in Mullingar Park Hotel on Friday 8 th March. St. Laurence O’Toole’s National School, Roundwood got 2 awards in the National Cumann Na mBunscol competition, they got 3rd place for Promotion of Gaelic Games and Culture for the school and 3rd place in Large School of the Year. Cumann na mBunscol Chill Mhantáin got 1st place in the Social Media Award and 2nd place in Public Relations. What a night for Wicklow in Mullingar! Congrats to all involved 


 For the second year in-a-row, Roundwood National School has qualified for the All-Ireland final ofthe Primary Schools’ Quiz in the RDS, Dublin on the 7 th April. St Laurence O’Toole’s National School, Roundwood had success at the regional final in Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy on Sunday 3 rd March. Winning the Under 11 Section by 8 points. The winning team was Mark Ichim, Conor Carpenter, Amelia Power and Matthew Doyle. Thanks also to their Teacher Brian Flood for all the practice that’s being done behind the scenes in the school. 


Roundwood National School are collecting old used domestic batteries, e.g. AA, AAA, C, D, v9, Laptop batteries, old drill batteries etc. You can leave the batteries into Keeley’s Hardware. 

We are collecting until the end of March. 


Pilgrimage to knock will be on Saturday 27th April 2024. Bus leaving the square Rathdrum 7.30 am. Roundwood 8am breakfast and dinner in Tyrrells pass castle €80 per person all money to be paid before Easter 30th March. Contact Susan 0876273032 


45 Card Game every Tuesday night in Moneystown Community Centre starting at 8 pm. Teas served. All are welcome.

Wicklow County Council Mobile Library will be in Roundwood Village on Thursday28th March 2024 from 10am until 11.15am and also from 2.10pm until 4.30pm. Come along and join the library. It’s a free service and is a fantastic way to pick up any book that suits your reading interests.
