CREATIVE HUB

Roundwood Creative Hub are holding an Easter egg and shamrock hunt and Bank Holiday market at Roundwood Parish Hall on Saturday 16th March. Registration is at 11.30 and the hunt kicks off at 12. €3 per child. Lots of prizes to be won. Easter hamper raffle also taking place at the market. 

HISTORICAL TALK  

Roundwood and District Historical, Folklore and Archaeological Society next talk. TheHorse in Co. Wicklow: Work and Play. Dr Emma Lyons at 8 pm, 19th MarchRoundwood Parish Hall. All are welcome. Members €3; Non-members €5 

LOTTO  

Results of the draw held on Sunday March 10th. There was no jackpot winner, the numbers drawn were 6, 10, 15 & 18. There were six match three winners. Lucy Molloy, Sandra Tuke, Sean Waters, D Price, R Kenny and Alice Tack. Next jackpot will be €18,700.    

BATTERY COLLECTION 

Roundwood National School are collecting old used domestic batteries, e.g. AA, AAA, C, D, v9, Laptop batteries, old drill batteries etc. You can leave the batteries into Keeley’s Hardware. 

We are collecting until the end of March.

BRIDGE RESULTS 

Monday, 4th March 2024, 4.5 tables. N/S 1st Monica Brady and Phil Power 2nd Pamela Byrne and Clare Salley. E/W 1st Rowena Brady and Maria Magee 2nd Bridie Nolan and Catherine Halligan Teresa Leahy and Margaret Byrne. There is a game of social bridge on Friday morning at 10:00am in the community hall. All players are welcome to join. 

KNOCK PILGRIMAGE 2024  

Pilgrimage to knock will be on Saturday 27th April 2024. Bus leaving the square Rathdrum 7.30 am. Roundwood 8am breakfast and dinner in Tyrrells pass castle €80 per person all money to be paid before Easter 30th March. Contact Susan 0876273032

 45 Card Game every Tuesday night in Moneystown Community Centre starting at 8 pm. Teas served. All are welcome.

MOBILE LIBRARY   

Wicklow County Council Mobile Library will be in Roundwood Village on Thursday14th March 2024 from 10am until 11.15am and also from 2.10pm until 4.30pm. Come along and join the library. It’s a free service and is a fantastic way to pick up any book that suits your reading interests.
