On behalf of the Roundwood Ploughing Society, we would like to extend our sincere condolences to the Mulligan family on their recent bereavement.  Tom Mulligan was a member for many years an was current President of both the County and Roundwood Ploughing Society. During his time as member he held several positions in the club including secretary for over twenty years.  He also represented Wicklow on numerous occasions at the All Ireland Ploughing Championships.  Since he stopped ploughing himself he remained very much involved by judging in County and National Level, both in the Tractor and Horse Class.  He is very sadly missed especially at this time of year.  May he rest in peace.

Only two weeks left!  Roundwood NS Operation Transformation has been a great success with almost 100lbs lost to date. The family walk takes place on a Saturday morning at 9.30 leaving from the school down to the lake. It’s been great fun for all involved and a great way to get all the family moving.

It provides grant assistance towards the purchase and installation of monitored personal alarms to enable older persons continue to live securely in their homes with confidence, independence and peace of mind. The scheme is operated through Pobal via community organisations. The Roundwood and District Community Council is registered to administer this scheme in the area.
