The idea is that the community adopt the mile to enhance its appearance and research any points of interest along the way. Previous participants of the Pure Mile found that getting involved provided an opportunity to meet neighbours and helped foster a renewed sense of community in their areas.  A meeting of the residents, landowners and anyone interested in getting involved in the 2015 Pure Mile will take place on Monday the 13th of April in Roundwood Old School at 7.15pm.
