HISTORICAL TALK

Roundwood and District Historical, Folklore and Archaeological Society.  Van Diemen’s Women. A History of Transportation to Tasmania by Joan Kavanagh. Joan is fascinated by local Wicklow history and its impact around the world, she has lectured at Irish-Australia Studies conferences in Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. The author of 4 local history books and in collaboration with others. Next talk is 8 pm, 21st May. Roundwood Parish Hall Members €3; Non-members €5

CREATIVE HUB MARKET

Roundwood Creative Hub Market returns from 11am to 4pm in the parish hall. Eggs, honey, jams, baking, plants, flowers, candles, soaps, waxmelts, bathbombs, knitwear, toys, photography, jewellery,  artificial flower arrangements, ceramics and much more.

Please support this initiative from local producers and crafters.

CANCER SUPPORT 

Roundwood Cancer Support office is open every Monday and Friday from ten to twelve o clock for anyone who needs advice or help when dealing with Cancer.

Results of the draw held on Sunday 19th May. There was no jackpot winner the numbers drawn were 10, 19, 21 & 22. There were eight match three winners. DAY TRIP

Day Trip to Kildare on Sunday 9th June. Visit to the Parish Church where the Relic of St. Bridget is kept, for Mass at 11 am and to visit St. Bridget’s Well, followed by some shopping time in Kildare Village. MOBILE LIBRARY  

 Wicklow County Council Mobile Library will be in Roundwood Village on Thursday23rd May 2024 from 10am until 11.15am and also from 2.10pm until 4.30pm. Come along and join the library. It’s a free service and is a fantastic way to pick up any book that suits your reading interests.   

 45 CARD GAME 

45 Card Game every Tuesday night in Moneystown Community Centre starting at 8 pm. Teas served. All are welcome.
