Set Dancing News

Set dancing sessions continue in the Vartry Lounge (Kavanagh's) every Thursday night  from 9.30 to 11.30 with music supplied by Michael, Matt and Brian for this month and sets called by Angela Bernard. Starting on Thursday, 16th September, Sheila will give lessons in set dancing from 8.30 p.m. til 9.30 p.m. before the weekly sessions.   It is hoped that with enough interest we will also get the chance to do a few ceili dances such as the high caul cap, haymakers jig, Siege of Ennis and the like.  So now is a chance for newcomers to try something new and for others to renew their interest.  There will be no additional charge for the lessons--just the €5 fee for the session. Bringing a dancing partner to these sessions is not essential and many arrive on their own and quickly join in with the craic! Come along and try it.  What have you to lose?  It's good exercise, great craic and a cheap night out!

Texas Hold 'em
Texas Hold 'Em every Thursday night in The Coach House Roundwood at 8pm sharp. All are welcome.

45 Card Drive
45 card game every Tuesday night in the Moneystown Community Center starting at 8.45pm. Teas served. All are welcome.
